Follows Tony, whose life is turned upside down after his wife dies from breast cancer. He contemplates suicide, but instead decides to live long enough to punish the world for his wife's death by saying and doing whatever he wants. Although he thinks of this as his "superpower," his plan is undermined when everyone around him tries to make him a better person.

But then he finds out he was misdiagnosed by the most incompetent oncologist on Earth, Dr. Ian Glennis (Nick Frost), Now he has a big decision to make: come clean and go back to his old rubbish life, or keep this new information a secret and pretend to be ill. He picks the latter, but the lie rapidly spirals out of control and both Daniel and Dr. must spend every waking minute trying to prevent the truth from getting out.

The gang, 5 raging alcoholic, narcissists run a failing dive bar in south philly. The gang make up some scheme for sex, money, fame or for any other terrible reason you could think of. It always goes south however, as the gang (sometimes literally) have their plans blow up in their face.
